I have a strict registration process that enables me to only present the best choice of candidates to our clients.

You MUST have at least 3 years experience in private service or in some cases a great background in hospitality will suffice. Longevity in roles is always a plus and likewise job hopping is looked upon by employers rather nervously. Exceptions in this tends to be chefs and nannies who do usually only stay shorter periods .

The first impression I have of you is your CV so please make sure it’s up to date, detailing your work history, reasons why you left each job, salary, etc. For most jobs you will need a recent DBS (criminal records check) or be happy to get one if the client requires it.

I do check references personally and so it’s vital to give as many recent referees as you can. Not only do they confirm your cv it’s also a valuable security measure for verifying your information.

You will need to submit your identity documents – this is essential. You must have the legal right to work in the UK if you are applying for a UK role. For overseas placements we will discuss the visa requirements of that country.

From this point your CV is submitted to the client who will then arrange an interview.

A lot of these now are done by phone or video . I expect you to be professional, on time and prepared for your interviews as you represent me as well as yourself.

Some jobs involve second or even third interviews but then any job offers are submitted to me from the employers. I will then help you negotiate the salary and contract and organise your start date.

After you start your new job I am on hand to discuss any issues and help you settle into your new role. It’s the start of a great new relationship for both of us!
